Hello! My name is Mandi, photographer and owner of Mandi Lou Photography.
When I am not behind the camera, I am probably either gardening, cookin' up some vegan dishes, practicing yoga or aerial art or just chillin' with my nose in a book. I am 35 years old, married and have two rescue dogs.
My love for photography started at a young age when I would spend days going through mom's box of old family photographs. It gave me feelings of comfort and nostalgia, both of which I craved. My love for these old family photos evolved into a career in portrait photography. In 2019, I enrolled in the Digital Photography Program at NWTC and in 2020, I opened my business.
I specialize in senior and family portraits and hope to someday expand into other areas of portraiture, such as boudoir, engagement/wedding, maternity/newborn, pet and events. What sets me apart from other photographers is that I do not have a studio. I prefer to shoot on location, using existing backdrops and natural lighting.
I also dabble in photojournalism, where I am able to raise awareness to the many environmental concerns that we face today. For more information on this, follow me on any of my social media sites.

'EVERY SENIOR'
Mandi Lou Photography believes that every senior deserves a professional senior portrait to celebrate the first big milestone of their adult life. The reality is though, not every family can afford to hire a professional and as a result they appoint a family member to take amateur photos and get them printed at the local drug store or they simply go without.
To help low-income families, I have created a charity fund entitled 'Every Senior' and a portion of every senior session will go into this fund. I will accept applications from May to December the year prior to the senior's graduation. In addition to the free session, I will also offer special product pricing and payment plans so they can enjoy prints and merchandise right away.
